Well… the entire WordPress admin site changed since I’ve last logged on… That’s a good sign that steady blogging might now be my thing. However, I do find myself wanting to write again, so much has happened since I last posted. So, over the next few days, I’ll actually try and post more to catch up. We’ll see how long I keep up with it this time
How do you know it’s been a while?
March 24, 2009Where to start
August 10, 2008Ever been away from your blog for so long that you’re not even sure where to pick it all up again? That’s where I find myself today. In all honesty, that’s where I’ve been for the past few weeks, I haven’t written about the things and the reasons why I started this blog in so long that the thought of writing has been… well… overwhelming. Do I talk about my new job? About how well Kate is doing and how proud I am of her? Or maybe of what it’s been like to be back on the dating scene?
It used to be that no one followed my blog and so it didn’t really matter what I wrote, or what tone I took, but that has changed. This blog is not popular by any stretch of the imagination, but my friends, and perhaps my co-workers do follow it from time to time. So it has become a rather censored version of what I would have otherwise written. I have absolutly nothing bad to say about anyone, but… sometimes even writing the simple stuff while knowing that it’s being read by those that I know seems odd.
Maybe this blog is destined to stay all Vanilla.

Bicycles vs. Cars
July 13, 2008I went to Toronto last night for a going away party of a fiend of mine. This was my first time back since I left the CMT.ca project (about 2 months now). Back in those days gasoline was still under a dollar (or close to it). Coming back yesterday (gas being at around $1.37 per liter) I noticed a remarkable change. There were bicycles everywhere!!! I was on Queen St. close the Drake Hotel and there wasn’t a sign post, tree or bike stand in sight that didn’t have at least 3 bikes chained to it. When the bars let out there were more bikes on the road then cars!!!
Now… there’s an encouraging change
PostRank.com
July 11, 2008
A very big hazzah and congratulations to the AideRSS team. They have launched PostRank.com today. What is PostRank.com you might ask. Well, in their own words:
“PostRank is a scoring system developed by AideRSS to rank online content, such as RSS feed items, blog posts, articles, or news stories. This scoring system is based on social engagement, which refers to how interesting or relevant people have found an item or category to be.”
For all the details, go check out PostRank’s site. Oh, and make sure to play the video… you just might recognize the voice
Oh, and if you’re not using the AideRSS Firefox plug in for Google Reader… give it a try, you’ll love it!
Check out the original blog post.
