The first ever Starup Drinks Waterloo is now a go
Come out and share a pint with other startup folks. A chance to meet new people, catchup with old friends and talk about what you’re up to, what you might need help with, or anything that crosses your mind…

We’re getting started on planning the Mobile Weekend event. So if you’re interested in helping out or being part of the group that helps organize the event, go visit the official post for Mobile Weekend and leave us a comment letting us know that you’re going to be attending.
The first meeting will be held on Friday, Jan 18th, 2008 at 7pm. At the offices of Innovation Toronto located at 169 Eastern Ave., Toronto, ON.

Well, it’s a go. Early planning is underway for what will be the first of many (we hope) MobileWeekends. The idea is to bring together brilliant minds from all walk of tech and business to create great mobile applications in a weekend (or maybe two). The details are very sketchy right now, but stay tuned for more. In the mean time, we have created a new blog specifically for these events.
Updates will go up here as well as on the new blog for the first little while to get the word out.

We are targeting spring for the first event. Most likely in Waterloo if we can get the space, and if not, then in Toronto.
