Startup Drinks Waterloo is on!

The first ever Starup Drinks Waterloo is now a go Come out and share a pint with other startup folks. A chance to meet new people, catchup with old friends and talk about what you’re up to, what you might need help with, or anything that crosses your mind…

MobileWeekend – Tickets are FREE!

The organizers of MobileWeekend have decided to open up the even even more by making it a free event. The dates have also changed for what will hopefully be the last time. It is going to be held on Sep 12th to the 14th.

A very big hazzah and congratulations to the AideRSS team. They have launched PostRank.com today. What is PostRank.com you might ask. Well, in their own words:

“PostRank is a scoring system developed by AideRSS to rank online content, such as RSS feed items, blog posts, articles, or news stories. This scoring system is based on social engagement, which refers to how interesting or relevant people have found an item or category to be.”

Mobile Weekend is back on track

Now that I’ve been in town for over a week, I’ve finally had the time to start working on Mobile Weekend again. The tickets have been updated and are up and ready to go. We’ve also changed the format a bit. One idea for the weekend, but we’ll be building the application on multiple platforms.

Startup Weekend – Canadian City Vote

The Canadian cities are up! So, tell your friends and go vote for your city and let’s get our numbers up so we can start setting some dates! I’m excited to see SW coming to Canada and can’t wait to attend all the events.
