Bicycles vs. Cars

I went to Toronto last night for a going away party of a fiend of mine. This was my first time back since I left the CMT.ca project (about 2 months now). Back in those days gasoline was still under a dollar (or close to it). Coming back yesterday (gas being at around $1.37 per liter) I noticed a remarkable change. There were bicycles everywhere!!! I was on Queen St. close the Drake Hotel and there wasn’t a sign post, tree or bike stand in sight that didn’t have at least 3 bikes chained to it. When the bars let out there were more bikes on the road then cars!!!

Now… there’s an encouraging change 🙂
